As an orphan, young Bixby (Betsy Wilke) is a lowly V1 in the Vega caste system, and barely ekes out an existence. But she has a champion in Alex Lannon, who watches over her like a big brother. When Alex’s true identity as the Chosen One is revealed, his relationship with Bixby is the one constant in his life, although this relationship soon puts Bixby in danger.
