Archangel Gabriel (Carl Beukes) is Michael’s “twin” (in the hierarchy of angels). Once a protector of humanity, he now blames our species for God’s absence from the world, and leads the lower angels in a battle against our kind. A master manipulator, his most effective weapon is, ironically, the truth, which he wields as masterfully as a sword.
